In the event of a serious accident where the driver is unresponsive, Emergency SOS can alert emergency services to your precise location. Once an incident is detected, the system runs an anti-false-positive check before placing your smartphone into beacon mode. If no response is detected, emergency services are notified with key location data — helping responders act quickly.

AutoSync & Smart Connectivity

Using Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi, the 522GW automatically syncs footage to your smartphone via the MyNextbase Connect app (Android & iOS). Dual video files (high and low resolution) allow quick viewing on your device while retaining full-quality footage for zooming in on important details like number plates.

Footage can then be easily edited and shared directly with insurers.

Intelligent Parking Mode

When your vehicle is parked, Intelligent Parking Mode activates automatically. The dash cam switches into low-power standby, monitoring for impacts using its G-force sensor. If movement is detected, it powers on and records for three minutes — offering protection even when you're away from your vehicle.
